The world is a hotbed and an arena of discourse conflicts, and in the first step, each discourse tries to give itself and its followers an identity and dominate the rival in the form of words, by dominating the other.
The emergence of Islam in the form of a different discourse at the beginning of the 7th century AD against the pagan and past-oriented discourse in Mecca caused a fierce conflict in the society of Hijaz at that time to the extent that the rulers of Mecca, in order to overcome the new discourse and not allow it to dominate, at first by accusing the Prophet of being influenced by Christians and giving him unjust titles, then by persecuting and torturing his helpers, caused the forced migration of Muslims to the land of Abyssinia. The leaders of Quraysh sent messengers to the court of Najashi and demanded to confront and return them. The words of the representatives of these two groups in the palace of the king of Abyssinia show discourses and sub-discourses and the benefit of each of the surrounding sub-discourses to overcome the other.
This article aims to describe, interpret and explain the type of discourses and how they are active in the framework of discourse topics and using rhetorical figures in the framework of van Dijk's square ideology and to show how the word as a media, by benefiting from these arrangements, can dominate the opponent's discourse, even though it is powerful, by bringing together small discourses.
The approach of this research shows that the discourse of Islam with Jafar's rhetoric was able to dominate the powerful discourse of polytheism and retrospect of the Arabian Peninsula by expressing common teachings with aligned sub-discourses and rhetorical and expressive measures.
