The Abbasid era is known for the emergence of powerful Iranian bureaucrats such as the Barmakis, the Sahl dynasty, who were the most famous. The Bramke family and the Sahl family have undoubtedly made the greatest efforts to rebuild the Iranian identity in the heart of the Abbasid regime. Basically, the prominent feature of these powerful families was to preserve and expand the position of non-Arab Muslims, followed by the preservation of Iranian culture and art, politics and government. For all these families, especially the Barmaki family, returning to the greatness and glory of Iranshahr in the Sassanid era was the most important goal of politics in the Abbasid system. Based on what has been said, the question of the current research is, "What role did Iranian bureaucrats play in strengthening the position of non-Arab Muslims in the Abbasid Caliphate?". It is assumed that due to the dominance of the power of Iranian bureaucrats, non-Arab Muslims were given a suitable position and they were given the rights of citizenship like other Muslims. The present study was compiled based on the descriptive-analytical method and reference to library sources.
