There is an image of Sufism that they keep away from the sensitive and dangerous situations of their society. The historical recognition of the presence of the first ascetics, i.e. those who were later introduced as the pioneers of Sufism, in Hudud, Thaghur and Rabats of Syria, indicates that this understanding of asceticism and Islamic mysticism is incorrect. These Sufis were the first people of knowledge and established scientific schools. They protested against injustice and oppression in their time. These jihadist ascetics had a view regarding the provision of living expenses and the formation of a family according to the situation they were in. We know it as a characteristic of Sufism, and many of them paid little or no attention to family and livelihood. Also, for them, the stories and sayings attributed to the Prophets of Bani Israel are the same as the words of the Prophet of Islam, but due to the presence of ascetics in Jihad with non-Muslims, these words, while being mostly about asceticism, have an obviously Islamic and anti-Christian approach. Another characteristic of these ascetics is to lay the groundwork for the creation of a new language in expressing mystical experiences, which in later periods leads to the creation of a special mystical language. The upcoming research, with a historical and phenomenological approach and the study of library sources, tries to create a new image of the pioneers of Sufism, in which Sufism is not the same as living a quiet life and avoiding sensitive situations in society.
