This journal does not guarantee any acceptance of articles.
The refereeing of the articles in the journal of “ Historical Studies of the Islamic World” is by the double blind peer-review method (the identity of the author of the article and the referee are not known to both sides).
The reviewers are obliged to judge the article within the specified period of time and based on the policies and guidelines of the publication.
Each article is evaluated by at least two expert reviewers in the relevant subject field and the process of accepting the article takes about 3 months.
1- Notification of receipt after receiving the article
2- Formal review of the article (if the article does not comply with the mentioned points, it will be returned to the author for the necessary corrections)
3- If the article does not have any structural problems, it will be sent to a referee or clear-sighted reviewers to comment on its scientific value and eligibility to publish it in the journal.
4- The results of the arbitrations are discussed in the regular meetings of the editorial board and the final decision is made about the articles of each issue of the publication.
5- The final opinion of the editorial board is communicated to the article owners through the website.
