- To advance and deepen scholarly inquiry into Islamic history, with a particular focus on foundational issues in Muslim-majority societies.
- To foster global historical scholarship by drawing on the transnational intellectual and cultural capacities of the Al-Mustafa International University.
- To promote the institutionalization of international collaborative research in historical studies.
- To establish scholarly authority in the field of global historical research, particularly in areas pertaining to the Islamic world.
- To enhance the epistemological and methodological rigor of historical knowledge.
- To strengthen transnational historical research with a clearly defined scholarly purpose and analytical depth.
- To encourage transcentric approaches to historical inquiry, centered on the intellectual and civilizational core of the Islamic world.
